@Nikki - it's so funny that you say that, because that's EXACTLY what I commented on at the meeting. I'll edit the post and embed it in few minutes, but for now you can go watch it at his youtube.

Yes, I hate the term social media, but really, I use it for lack of a better term, too. It just seems too broad to me. Ah well.

Thanks for the recap, Stacy. The social media club is a fantastic idea, and I’m looking forward to being a part of it. I’d like to discuss where everyone sees social media (sorry, I know you hate that phrase!) going in the future. The role of communications professionals is rapidly evolving, so I’d love to get a discussion going on where we’ll be one to two years from now.

My online pet peeve is there are still too many people who utilize online mediums to brag and boast about how great their company/product/service is.
