Slides from Leadership Genesee presentation 4/2/09

Here are the slides from Thursday’s presentation to Leadership Genesee . . . I didn’t know what level the audience was on so I focused more on just building a foundation on which to build your social media presence.

There were many questions that there wasn’t time enough to answer, so I told the audience I’d answer them as best as I could here. I have an .mp3 of the session and am waiting on video, so once I review those I’ll have a refresher of what was asked and will do the best I can to tackle those subjects here in the very near future.

In the meantime, if there’s anybody  reading this that was in the audience and has a question for me, feel free leave it in the comments.

Oh, and give big, GIANT props to Nick Staroba for designing my awesome new logo!

FYI:

I’m currently working on a couple new sites — one will be for my company, TDR Communications, LLC, but until then thatdamnredhead.net will suffice. When I’m done with my company site, this will remain a social media/tech-focused blog with all the rants and sass that my regular readers are used to, but the stuff like this post — slides and stuff about local presentations and whatnot — will be on the other site.

Very cool slides! I like the bar graphs. What did you use to make those? What was the reaction to the preso from your audience? I know you worked hard on it…

And you got me to finally fill out my google profile…how dare you! :)

    BTW, nice logo ;P

@Nick I got those from the Social Media Marketing Industry Report: http://www.whitepapersource.com/socialmediamarketing/report/ … I credited them at the bottom of the slides and at the end of it in the credits.

The audience . . . well, many of them were ON these social networking sites but used them minimally, didn’t really “see the point,” or [insert reason here]. For the most part, receptive. @TJList has video he’s trying to suck out of his camera & once I get my paws on that I may post clips. :)
